The Department of Cell & Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan Medical School educates and trains undergraduate, graduate, professional, and postgraduate students in the areas of cell biology, embryology, neurobiology, organogenesis, and developmental biology. Kristen has been inducted as a 2023 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for distinguished contributions to the fields of cell biology and biophysics in understanding microtubules and motors, and development of the tubulin code.
Emily (Tsai lab) was awarded the prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF).
